WHAT IS ROY’S & SUPERSTARS FOOTY

Roy’s Footy is played within the Brisbane Lions catchment zone, with Superstars Footy being played within the Gold Coast SUNS catchment zone.

Centrals Juniors AFL Club falls in the Gold Coast SUNS catchment zone

Roy’s and Superstars footy are a super fun, social and safe way AFL development program for boys and girls between the ages of 5-8 who have graduated from the NAB AFL Auskick Program.

Once joined, participants can then further develop their football, social skills and match play in a local club environment before officially joining Junior Club Football in Under 8’s.

Superstars Footy is an AFL development program, focusing on match play & skill development, and is the participation link between NAB AFL Auskick and Footy 4 Fun (Under 8.5).
Superstars Footy is fundamentally an extension of Auskick, however it’s structured in a similar way to Junior Club Footy. Participants aged 5-7 can participate in game-based activities, leading into modified (non-contact) AFL matches. A maximum of one mid-week training is allowed, plus a one- hour session on Friday - Sunday.

Participant Age Groups
All participants must be born within the age groups of 1/1/2013 - 30/6/2015 for the 2020 season. Playing down applications are reviewed on a case-by-case basis and must be made to your local Development Coordinator.
